Windows SmartScreen may warn you because the client is not code-signed. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

Already have the client?

Close the game, unzip the patch into your client folder (the one with start.bat) and let it overwrite the old files. It brings any client from 7 September or later up to date.

Install and play

Unzip the file anywhere, for example C:\Games\Genesys. Not inside Program Files.
Open the folder and double-click start.bat. Starting Game.exe directly does not work.
Choose Aeden in the server list and log in with your account.
On your first login, set a security code of 6 to 12 digits. It protects your items and character deletion, so keep it safe.

Resolution and fullscreen are in the in-game System menu, up to 1920×1080.

If something goes wrong

"Connection failed" when I log in

Check the server status on the home page. If Aeden is open, allow the game through your firewall on TCP port 1973.

Nothing happens when I start Game.exe

Start the game with start.bat in the client folder. It passes the launch key that Game.exe needs.

I forgot my security code

Contact a Game Master in game. They can check the account with you.

The confirmation e-mail did not arrive

Look in your spam folder. The link works for 24 hours; after that, register again with the same name.
